Due to its closeness to the capital town and the airport, the small beach of Perama gets very busy in summer. Many tourist facilities surround the region.
Corfu’s Perama Beach is located on the east coast of the island and is surrounded by hills of olive trees that look like sentinels on the distant horizon.
The beach is south of the capital, about a 10-minute drive from it, in the Kanoni area, to which it is connected via a narrow land bridge which has now become a very famous walking path, which winds along the coastal road .
The beach is made up of numerous strips of light sand one after the other, washed by a crystal clear sea, very famous among snorkelling lovers as it is very rich in marine creatures. Perama is much loved by tourists also for its peace and tranquility, a true refuge to relax and recharge.
The beach offers traditional bars and taverns for refreshment, as well as the possibility of renting deckchairs and umbrellas.
