The temple of Artemis in Corfu is a Greek temple from the first half of the 6th century BC. dedicated to the goddess Artemis. It is one of the oldest Doric-style temples and is an octastyle temple, with seventeen columns on each long side.
Currently only the sculptures of the western pediment remain, in relief slabs in poros (tufaceous stone), originally most likely polychrome. 10 out of 21 plates were found between 1911 and 1914 by Wiilhem Dörpfeld at the monastery of Garitza. The reconstruction of the pediment, carried out by Gerhart Rodenwalt, is exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Corfu
