Vignaferrovia is produced only in the best years from a small vineyard of about 4 and a half hectares, adjacent to the ancient station of Pian delle Vigne, resting on a clayey and limestone soil, rich in small skeleton.
It is an elegant, enveloping wine, characterized by a dense tannic texture supported by a great freshness and sweetness.
The first vintage of Vignaferrovia was 2004. It was not produced in 2005, 2008, and 2011.
