Triusco – Red Primitivo Manduria DOC – Rivera
With the Triusco, Rivera interprets the Primitivo, today perhaps the most popular variety of Puglia wine, trying to balance the extreme intensity of aromas and concentration of matter on the palate with a dense tannic structure and fresh acidity.
With an impenetrable purplish color and an intense bouquet of black berry jam and cocoa, in the mouth it is full and soft with a long and persistent finish. Served at 18 ° -20 ° C, it goes well with dishes rich in flavor.
Variety: 100% Primitivo. Black grape variety widespread in the central southern part of Puglia which owes its name to its very early ripening. It reaches a very high sugar content and gives life to very rich and alcoholic wines, with a very intense red-violet color, a characteristic bouquet of black fruit and a well-structured and at the same time velvety body.
Vinification: Last week of August and second of September. Yield of 50-60 q / ha
Aging: Maceration for 10-12 days with frequent pumping over
Tasting notes: Very deep purplish color; intense bouquet of blackberry jam, plums and cocoa with spicy notes of toasted almonds; on the palate it is full, warm, intense and soft with a long and pleasant finish.
Food pairing: Structured and rich in flavor dishes such as pasta with meat sauce, braised meats, roasts and hard cheeses. Serve at cellar temperatures (18 ° C)
