The name Vigna, authorized by the competent bodies, in front of the name Flaminio indicates the real correspondence of the area and therefore of the vineyard from which the grapes of our DOC Brindisi come. This is the first Brindisi DOC produced ever, it ran in 1972.

Harvest period: second ten days of September

Winemaking technique
fermentation at a controlled temperature for 7-10 days; short post-fermentation maceration. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation at the end of alcoholic fermentation.
Aging: stainless steel tanks; short passage for six to eight months in hl barrels. 50 Slavonian oak; permanence for approx. 12 months in concrete tanks.
Refinement in the bottle: 5-6 months
Organoleptic characteristics
Color: deep ruby red with violet reflections; takes on a garnet-veined nail with aging.
Smell: of good intensity, complex, with fruity and spicy scents.
Taste: elegant, harmonious, soft, full of character and good sinew.
Pairings
Meat in general, game, poultry and strong dishes.
