Collina di Brindisi PDO extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the fruit of the olive tree of the Ogliarola Salentina variety in an amount of no less than 70%; for the remaining 30% from other varieties spread throughout the area including Cellina di Nardò, Coratina, Frantoio, Leccino and Piccoline which may be present in the olive groves alone or jointly.
DOP extra virgin olive oil produced from millenary plants.
It has a green to yellow color, a medium-light fruity smell and a fruity flavor with a slight perception of bitterness and spiciness.
