With very ancient origins, Primitivo is able to produce wines of great value. In Salento, thanks to long sunny days and significant changes in temperature at night, grapes are produced that concentrate a great ripening that offer a soft and well-structured wine.
Ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it offers a perception of ripe, slightly dried red fruit and cherries in alcohol. Spices are a precious olfactory touch that frame the nobility of the wine. The taste offers a distinct enveloping. The tannin is softly velvety and gives a caressing structure. Round and soft, it boasts a long finish with returns of dried figs and black cherries.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: A wine with an elegant and robust body like the Primitivo di Fiore di Vigna becomes a precious combination with slow-cooked meat stews. Long-aged cheeses, particularly tasty, are gently accompanied by the soft sip of the wine. In the memories of the Italian tradition it gives itself lovingly in combination with a meatloaf in the oven.
