The “Friarielli” like most cruciferous vegetables, are particularly tasty stir-fried with olive oil and a clove of garlic. In Naples, to enhance their flavor and make them even more appetizing, they also gladly add pieces of sausage (the famous “sasicchia e friarielli”).
Friarelli broccoli also offer a wonderful combination with pasta. They are also excellent as a side dish to contrast fish and meats.
