Neprica – Red Primitivo IGT Puglia – Tormaresca
The Primitivo in purity Neprica is an Apulian red wine, strong and vigorous with a fragrant and fruity sensorial profile, coming from the province of Brindisi. It has an intense ruby red color, furrowed by purple reflections, and releases notes of black cherries, small fresh and candied red fruits and licorice aromas, revealing a soft, round sip with evolved tannins, awakened by a balanced freshness .
Vinification and aging
The grapes were de-stemmed, crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place, which took place in 8-10 days at a controlled temperature of about 26 ° C. The malolactic fermentation ended by the beginning of winter. This is then followed by a period of further refinement, first in steel for about 8 months and then in the bottle for another 4 months.
Tasting notes
NePriCa Primitivo has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is dominated by notes of red fruit such as black cherry, plum,
candied orange combined with delicate sweet sensations of wild rose and licorice.
With a soft and wide entrance, on the palate it is sapid, structured and followed by a pleasant fruity aftertaste.
