“This was a really great experience. Different from other cooking classes we’ve done as it was a larger group (approx. 13) but it worked well. Much of the time was spent making the Orecchiette pasta and practicing the technique, while Simona relayed the history of Puglia, regional pasta shapes and what sauces can and more importantly cannot be served together. The class location is at her farm, where she lives in a trullo house and she provided a great explanation of the significance and history of the traditional dwelling.
